John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.
Luke 11:2-4 (The Lord's Prayer)
Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be they name, thy kingdom come, they will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven, Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those that trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation and deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom the power and the glory forever and ever.
Psalm 23
The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want, He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He guides me in the paths of righteousness For His name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You have anointed my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
Exodus 20:1-17 (The Ten Commandments)
1. You shall have no other gods before me.
2. You shall not make for yourself an idol... or worship them.
3. You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God...
4. Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy...
5. Honour your father and mother...
6. You shall not murder.
7. You shall not commit adultery.
8. You shall not steal.
9. You shall not give false testimony against your neighbour.
10. You shall not covet your neighbour's house... or anything that belongs to your neighbour.
1 John 5:11
And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.
Romans 3:23, 6:23
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God... For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
John 1:12
Yet to all who received Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God.
Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and He will make your paths straight.
