Crests
The crests that students can earn at Karate for Christ include:
Academic Achievement
This crest is earned by obtaining at least a "B" average on a recent school report card and showing it to an instructor.
A red chevron is awarded to a student that has
earned the academic achievement crest and has continued to maintain a "B"
average or shown improvement
A yellow chevron is awarded to a student who has
earned five red chevrons. Thre red chevrons are removed and are replaced by the
yellow chevron.
Dove and Fist
The crest is earned by a student
reading one of the four gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke or John) from the New
Testament.
A red chevron is awarded to a student for
reading another gospel or any other complete book of the
Bible.
A yellow chevron is awarded to a student for who
has earned five red chevrons for Bible reading. The red chevrons are removed
and replaced with the yellow chevrons.

Full Splits Club Crest
This crest is earned by a student being able to
demonstrate an ability to perform the 180 degree centre splits.
