First Belt Test at Grace Bible Church / Preston Karate for Christ
About 35 students passed their first belt test at our new Karate for Christ location.
Congratulations to all of our students with new red belts!

Karate for Christ at Grace Bible Church
Close to 60 new students joined Karate for Christ for the first day of the Monday weekly program at Grace Bible Church in Cambridge. What an exciting start!

Jordan Dellabough led a Modern Arnis Seminar. He taught our regular Saturday morning classes and also led a three hour afternoon seminar. We all had a great time developing our Arnis skills.

Cane Masters Seminar with Sensei Neil - 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Cost is $25 per student which includes a rattan training cane that you get to keep, plus a certificate.

Belt Testing - More than 70 students earned a higher ranking belt. This was the second largest testing ever at Karate for Christ.

Sempai Jeff competed at the Ontario Provincial Championships in Hamilton. He won third place in kata and fourth in point sparring. Congratulations Jeff!!

Jamie Seabrook held a day of seminars at Karate for Christ. Everyone had a great time.

Adults Seminar: Takedown Techniques - An Analytic Breakdown
Instructors Seminar: American Kenpo's Answer to Club Attacks

The Karate for Christ Fall Shiai was a great success. Over four hundred awards were handed out to participants in six events: fitness, self-defenses, free kata, weapons kata, stick sparring and free sparring. Pictures from the shiai can be viewed on our pictures page.
